Fortnite Shop Token Locations (All Chest Spawns)
There is no single Fortnite shop token location: the token can drop from any regular chest on Crossbones Isle. That makes the best pirate shop token spots simply the places where you can open the most chests in one match, led by Arlong Park and Lantern Landing.

Chest spots by density
Densest
Arlong Park
Chests packed into a small footprint. The top start on the published chest maps. Leave if the drop is already a fight.
Densest
Lantern Landing
Second dense cluster, close enough to chain straight off Arlong Park.
High
Windmill Village
South rotation off the two densest drops. Use it to keep the chest count climbing.
High
Loguetown
Named POI with buildings to sweep at the end of the Arlong Park line.
Quieter backup
Plunder Port
Switch here when the northern POIs are crowded. A quiet clear beats a first-minute death.
Quieter backup
Busy Bay
Another backup if Arlong Park and Lantern Landing are contested.
Quieter backup
Rubber Resort
South-side landing for a lobby where the north is a war zone.
Late rotation
Fortune's Fort
Add it late, after the first route, if the storm still leaves it up.
Is there a fixed shop token location?
No. The token isn’t a floor item or a hidden chest at one set of coordinates. It’s a prize that can roll when you open any regular chest in Battle Royale during Treasure Hunters. Videos and posts promising a “secret token spot” are recycling chest routes, which is useful, but no location guarantees a drop.
Some guides point to treasure chests inside buildings at named locations, and the chest does flash gold when it rolls a prize. But the first confirmed winner said their chest looked like any other until it opened. Open everything you walk past.
How the chest map works
Destructoid counts 901 chest spawn spots on the Crossbones Isle map, and 243 of those are guaranteed to spawn a chest every match. The rest are chance spawns, and some spots can hold more than one chest. Chests are spread fairly evenly across the island, but a few POIs pack far more into a small footprint, which is what you want when every chest is a roll.
The mini season notes also say chests refill over time. So a POI you cleared early can be worth sweeping again on your way to the next circle, especially if nobody else landed there.
Best landing spots for chest volume
Published maps do not give a chest count for each POI, so the labels above are relative: densest means the guides put that drop first for chests per minute. The cards list the POIs those guides recommend. Arlong Park and Lantern Landing are the strongest starts because they sit close together, so you can chain them and then rotate down through Windmill Village and Loguetown. A quick player on that route can open upwards of 50 chests in a single game.
If those two are crowded in your lobby, Plunder Port, Busy Bay, Rubber Resort and Fortune’s Fort are the fallback drops. A contested drop where you die in the first minute gives you fewer rolls than a quiet one, so pick the spot that lets you loot freely.
Route tips
- Skip early fights when you can. Every second spent in a box fight is a chest you’re not opening.
- Squad up and split buildings. Teammates covering different floors clear a POI much faster, and the token is widely reported to be shared across the party.
- Keep moving between POIs. One cleared POI only gives you so many rolls; chaining POIs multiplies them.
